By learning the basic foundation poses, and simple breathing patterns you will learn how relax on a level often not easily reached. Classes are safe, and non-competitive and our instructors are there to make sure you are not confused or left behind. Yoga is not just aerobic or physical exercise like other fitness programs. By concentrating on the connection between body, breath and mind, it aids in alleviating stress, anxiety and pain. As well as improving your strength and balance, if you are experiencing stress or anxiety, practising long and smooth yoga breathing will work to normalise your nervous system. It can also improve attention span, lower levels of depression, and improve your mental and emotional state. Yoga is not a new unproven fad. It has changed the lives of millions of people for the better.
